01

Choose the opening first

Use a separate six-sided lid over a matching rigid base. Keep the lid and base clearly separated in opening images so buyers can understand the mechanism. A regular hexagon needs six matching sides; decoration must follow the same corners in every view.
02

Make the insert fit the gift

The ivory insert shown has one circular recess for a round item such as a candle vessel. Confirm the actual product diameter, height and filled weight before sizing that recess. Leave practical finger access and check that the lid clears the product. Different contents require a different insert.
03

Balance bold colour and material detail

Coral wrapping paper and a restrained metallic border give the box a strong identity. Keep foil away from areas where wrapping or tight folds could distort it. Review paper, foil registration, corner overlaps and the insert lining together on a physical sample.
04

What should buyers check on a sample?

Open and close the lid several times, inspect all six corners and check whether the insert stays seated during product removal. Confirm that the box sits flat and the lid does not catch on the base. Evaluate shipping protection with the complete packed set and its outer shipping carton.
05

Specify the product envelope inside the hexagon

Measure the usable internal distance across flats as well as the product envelope. Do not size a round insert from the distance across opposite corners. We would compare the cavity wall remaining at the narrowest point and the finger access before reducing the outer box. A distinctive outline should not force a weak insert or awkward removal.
06

Prepare the quotation brief

Send product measurements, packed weight, quantities, preferred paper and finish, destination and any accessory requirements. Compare rigid box structures or request a packaging quotation.

About the images

These generated packaging views illustrate the structure discussed here. They are not photographs of a completed customer order; final fit and production details require a physical sample.
